The Ashcombe Adventure Centre is a purpose built outdoor entertainment site set in over 2000 acres of countryside. It holds a range of activities to suit all ages, including shooting, archery, fishing and paintball.
A variety of games aimed at both those looking for fun and those wanting to improve leadership or team building skills are available including Bunker Attack, Mission Impossible, VIP, Hostage Rescue and Crashed Plane. These take place in the landscape of deep ravines, bridges, bunkers and towers.
The paintball site covers in excess of 20 acres of woodland, moor, valley and streams. The ranges of games played are thrilling, exciting and professionally managed by experienced Marshals.
The centre has four fishing lakes that are are set in scenic countryside with views of the sea. Fishing is available from dawn till dusk and the types of fish caught include Carp, Roach, Tench, Skimmers, Rudd, Golden Rudd, Eel, and Trout.
Clay shooting is carried out in the grounds of Ashcombe Estate. The Parker traps provide the shooter with a consistent high quality target for a realistic and challenging shooting experience. An instructor with over 20 years experience is available to provide tuition for the beginner.
Archery lessons from expert instructors are available at the centre and can last from 20 minutes to 2 hours. You can learn the basics using short range targets and progress to long range using simulated hunting on the field course through the woods. Ashcombe Archers attend the centre every Thursday evening 6.30pm - 9.00pm. |
