New Exe Estuary Leaflet Available (views: 127) Joey Deacon5 August 08

A NEW leaflet packed full of information about the Exe Estuary was launched yesterday and is available from Tourist Information Centres in Exmouth, Exeter and Dawlish.

The colourful leaflet is a guide to all of the recreational activities available on the Estuary and where to find the clubs and organisations who can give advice and help local residents and visitors get the most out of the estuary.

The leaflet is intended to complement the current guide, the Exe Explorer, which gives information on getting around the Estuary whether by foot, cycle, train or bus.

The leaflet was produced with the help of a task group of representatives from local clubs and organisations around the Estuary - who gave up their time to contribute to the information and provide text and pictures.

Among the contributing clubs are: Lympstone Sailing Club, Exewake, Starcross Fishing and Cruising Club, RSPB, Dawlish Warren Rangers, Exmouth Town Council, Exeter Cyclists Touring Club, Powderham Estate, Exmouth Rowing Club, Topsham Sailing Club, Exmouth Sea Angling Association, Devon Wildfowlers and Teignbridge District Council.
