Tattoos, Tank tops and Tat

What a grim little town Dawlish is. So grim in fact that half its residents seldom if ever venture to the town at all (so hideous is the experience).

High time 'the tourism makes millions myth' is dispelled. It clearly has done nothing for this town other than line the pockets of a few selected individuals, whilst the town has been degenerated into a backward looking, shabby chav enclave.

Alongside many less well located towns that have benfitted from investment, Dawlish is an embarassment on a scale only matched by the town's appalling reputation.

Is there any hope?
