Can anyone explain why Dawlish Warren has such a tacky reputation? With such a beautiful area, why is it spoilt with so many tacky pubs and camps? As somebody explained on an earlier thread, "it's certainly not upmarket". It seems the Warren is a prime example of the junk culture that is spreading throughout this country of ours. Not that the owners of these places care ......as long as they make money. Yet the Warren is constantly on Westcountry news as an example of 'great' British resorts! Who are they kidding!
