the abbreviation ''pc'' can be initially confusing, it refers to when a whole or part of something is required. For example
- if 2 eggs are needed it will be written as - eggs 2 pc
- if half an onion is needed it will be written as - onion 1/2 pc
the abbreviation ''sq'' is used when an item should be added or used to taste
