As I had posted before, it's a tragedy for sure, but doesn't common sense tell you NOT to go too close to the edge as there is no fence there? That wall has been like that for over a hundred(?) years, and how many people have lost their lives by falling off?
14-year-old Albina Yevko sadly died after falling from the sea wall in Dawlish earlier this year. On Saturday morning, the fire service was called to Cofton Holiday park near Dawlish Warren to a report that a biomass energy plant had caught fire. Upon arrival, fire crews found that biomass inside the building was smouldering to temperatures as high as 400 degrees celsius.
