The housing crisis has come about for no other reason than greed, Whether by those who had a vested interest in the housing market, (Planners, surveyors, archi's, builder's, solicitors, estate agent's, etc, or those that thought that property was a good way to make money, (buy-to-let merchants)) although there will be plenty that will disagree with that.

A young couple, with their nose to the grinder, struggling hard to save enough to put a deposit on a house. Are now having to face the prospect that their taxes are going to be used to help those who blindly walked into buying without looking into the consequences.

The only way out of this crisis, is for house prices to drop by a very large ammount, whether that hurts those that paid far to much or not.

How else can we get out of this crisis?
