Youngsters in Dawlish now have no excuse for lounging in front of the telly on a Saturday morning. They can pop along to the Churchill Community Centre instead and take part in arts and crafts, outdoor and indoor games, including PlayStation. The get-together is being run by two trained youth workers from the Kingsway Meadow Community Association, and the Churchill community development worker, Jane Kelly. "We have recently received £5,000 from Awards for All to enable us to run clubs for children at the Churchill Centre, and we are thrilled to fulfil our promise to local people by starting the Saturday club," said Jane.
