Toolstation Western League Division One leaders Dawlish Town will be hoping to secure a place in the semi-finals of the Devon St Luke's Bowl tonight as they travel to Premier Division side Barnstaple Town (7.45pm), writes Nathan Woolford. Having excelled themselves in the last round with a 1-0 win over Torquay United at Plainmoor, the Seasiders will now be looking to take their awesome league form into the quarter-final clash. The prospect of 'revenge' against Bideford, who knocked Dawlish out of the FA Vase two weeks ago in controversial circumstances, lies in wait, with the two sides set to meet at the semi-final stage if both are successful tonight. Player-manager Chris Myers said: "We're looking forward to it and would like to think that we can get through. But they (Barnstaple) are a division above us and it'll be tough. "We played so well against Torquay in the last round and, if we win at Barnstaple, we'll have the chance for revenge against Bideford. "Our main concern is getting out of this division, but we've got to take it (the Bowl) seriously, and there are teams from the leagues above us involved. There's the chance to face someone like Exeter City in the final if we were to get that far. We know we've taken Bideford a long way though. "Barnstaple have improved of late, but didn't have a good start. Their striker Richard Squires is a threat and is a good goalscorer."
