A commuter who takes a popular train to work says he will be forced to start driving the 13 miles into Exeter when the service is axed. Richard Frewin, 36, travels to his office near Exeter Central Station on the 7.46am service from his home in Dawlish. It gets him into the city in plenty of time for the start of his day's work at 8.30am. But after a timetable shake-up, which comes into force in December, there will be no train from Dawlish to Exeter between 7.20am and 8.18am. The 8.18am will arrive too late for Mr Frewin and the 7.20am far too early.
