I watched with interest a piece on BBC 24 News about POP UP SHOPS. The idea is that Landlords and a budding entrepreneur have a short term rental agreement from 1 week to 3 months so the budding business can test the market for his or her product or service.

The advantages are the Landlord gets a little rent the person or persons renting get a opportunity to test the market and of course the premises are not empty it struck me that this idea may have a place in Dawlish to fill some of our empty shops and bring some interest back into town

Great idea. Bring it on .

Good idea.. but dont think people realise what it costs to stock a shop up ..then the risk that people will not support. It normally takes 3 years to get known and start to profit, let alone be accepted!
