Following criticism from quality inspectors steps have been taken to improve safety at a unit at Langdon Hospital.
The Care Quality Commission has found improvements have been made after follow-up visits to the Owen House Unit and it now meets the CQC's essential quality and safty standards.
Earlier this year major concerns were raised by inspectors who found it was failing to meet the necessary standards. Their original report found patients could be at risk because of lack of guidelines for individual patients and staff if physical intervention was required.
