Like it or no Mcjrpc there is a lot of interest in the true identity of smella.
So speculations please , on the back of a fag packet, left behind the bar at The Whte Hart.
She must be sick and tired of the stupid comments. I am. I see on the other thread she was called an 'outsider' ..how nice, . .no wonder she cant be bothered with the likes on here..
Maybe time to remove the discussion page based on thr nasty comments that people feel need to place towards each other and what a poor light it shows Dawlish to be, be it true.
Why not? She IS an outsider, so what else could I have called her?
Cant call her a foreigner, as that would not be PC and I would be labled a racist.
The same reason as I couldnt refer to her as a Londoner, plus I dont know where she actually originates from.
Which takes me back to a question I asked on here about how many posters actually live in Dawlish, as its the www
Wow Carer, you've changed your tune. In the summer you thought the Carnival chairwoman was portraying Dawlish in a bad light, in particular her comment about people not being Dawlish 'born and bred'. You're not Dawlish 'born and bred' and you still think it's okay to victimise Smella as an 'outsider' . Do you have two identities or is it just two faces?
Yes, I know I am not Dawlish born and bred and have not tried to hide it, but when I first moved here, 30+ years ago, I didnt go about telling people that they should change their way of life to suit me.
Call me what you like but I stand by what I have written above and said about the CC.

@Mcjrpc, what you have highlighted here is a completely different scenario to what is being discussed in this thread.
I think she was a ( ringer ) a person that comes into a forum just to stir up sentiments. As you can see she has gone of the radar.
Odd the West Country has an issue with 'outsiders;. Go to any other part of the UK and you are not called an outsider,. rather, and nicer 'a newcomer'.
