Hi,I will coming down to dawlish for two weeks on the 26th of April and staying at the Warren, will it be possible to walk into Dawlish from the Warren along the seawall? I know from the pictures i've seen on the tv you can't walk along the part that got damaged, but can you get to the first bridge from the Warren side?

Thanks.

There's currently no access between the bridge before Red Rock at the Warren and the train station here in town. This may have changed by the time you visit in 3 weeks time - so ask again closer to the time.

No, we enquired this week.  Security weren't sure but suggested a couple of months.

@Andylufc .  Yes, it's open between Coastguard Cottages and Coryton Cove.   You could take the cliff path from Dawlish Warren and come out by the Texaco garage then walk along Exeter Road to Coastguard Cottages and cross the bridge to the beach.  Granted it's not a walk along the seawall but it's not all road either.

Thanks for your replys,i were going to ask if you could use the coastal path as i have used it before, but that was many moons ago! And about the weather it normally rains when i'm there anyway so i'm used to it by now, still its better than Leedssmiley

The forecast for Saturday and Sunday is actually for showers and sunny intervals. Enjoy your stay in Dawlish and the Warren.

Mrs C, question have you ever heard of a sense of humour ??

It's like kidding around, or telling a white lie as a joke

I had no idea what the weather was :-)

The weather forecast for today was terrible, so it was great to see the forecaster proven so spectacularly wrong.

Andysport - are you joining the bullying brigade as well?  More money than sense, clearly...

I'm afraid it doesn't. However there are plenty of great little cafés in town and in the Warren.
