lots of stalls , not a lot of customers.

Might just be something to do with lack of advertising?

Open until 4.00pm I believe (unless of course the stall holders decide to cut their losses before then)...........

Don't remember seeing anything about it anywhere, and I've read this week's 'Gazette' and the 'Post'.  Would have gone if I'd known about it!

Plenty of adverts on FB and Twitter. Also in the Town Crier. But next to nothing in the local press.

Not everyone on FB or twitter let alone have computers.

First time I saw it advertised was yesterday morning on Eyes of Dawlish.

Looked everywhere in the Town Crier but can't find any advert. Might be me of course on the other hand might it be that you are confusing it with the advert about the Christmas market on the Strand.

Last year I had a flyer put through my front door a few days before this leisure centre based market was due to take place. Nothing this year. One of the stall holders told me that the flyers were delivered by the stall holders themselves but that this year they had not been provided with any flyers. So ironic that as I left the Leisure Centre, there, amongst loads of other leaflets, was a pile of A5 ones advertising this Winter Warmer market at the leisure centre. No point in 'em being there was there? Only those who use the leisure centre might have seen them and even then not all.

So so sad to see so many stall holders who had put so much time and effort into this market then having so very few people turning up (at least when I was there). Last year it was positively humming with people. If this market doesn't take place next year because stall holders don't see it being worth their while then I would not be in the least bit surprised and that would be such, such, a shame.

They looked a pretty hacked off bunch of people.

We only advertise events organised by the Town Council in the town crier, plus significant activities such as the Air Show.  There are so many events in the town, we have to draw the line somewhere.  It's a shame this one didn't work out for the stall holders and the organisers.

The town council has just paid for a Community Notice Board to be erected outside the Co Op. Posters can be left at the Open Daw centre.  Our thanks to the Co Op and Open Daw for helping with this

it must have been the Christmas Market on the Strand that I saw advertised.
