Again - well done Dawlish! 

I was driving up Empsons Hill and saw a sign for free range eggs (£1 for half doz). 

What amazed me was the honesty box!

As I keep chickens I didn't need eggs but I did buy 1lb of runner beans for £1!  They were soooo fresh and lovely with butter on:)

Well done Dawlish for having such an honest and open approach to life.  And I can recommend the beans!

If you drive up to Ashcombe there are lots of honesty boxes for eggs,tomatoes,apples, etc, etc last year somebody stole the lot plus the good's and yet they still have trust in folk being honest.

Bought some plants via an honesty box from a front garden on Exeter Road earlier this year and then again, a couple of weeks back, similar set up, from outside a cottage in Cockwood.
