Donald Trump should have no problem winning over Hillary Clinton in the race for the White House.

Great to have a strong US President.

And will it still be great if he pursues a US isolationist foreign policy?

He just wants to protect his citizens, nothing wrong with that.

No point having a weak leader. Our last strong Prime Minister was Margeret Thatcher.

Theresa could be similar which is exactly what we need.

Good on him, how many presidents before his possible win were multi billionaires. The u.s needs someone who is not easily pushed around. Although I think the u.s will have to be renamed C.O.R.P u.s.a if he wins.

It seems our wish to exit the E.U. stink pile has got our fellow european land grabbers all worked up to show their true emotions to the corrupt government machine.

The Bilderberg group seem a little upset over Trump becoming number one.

I fully understand political leaders protecting their citizens - that goes with the job.

I am querying Trump's stance on protecting other citizens. Like UK ones for example.

And I also noticed banners around the Republican convention hall saying "Make America Great Again".

But just like the Brexiteer slogan of "make Britain Great Again" there was/is no definition of what 'Great' means.

@Lynne - I think we all know what the slogan "make Britain great again" was used for. It meant different things to different sections of our community. It was a neutral statement of potential positivity for all, but, as you say, it was not defined within specifics as that would have diminished the statement.

As to what will actually happen with the political interpretation, who knows.

Also, Donald is a down to earth straight talking bloke. Someone you can trust.

Donald has been bankrupt 4 times and doesn't care who he steps on to make a buck. Not really going to be a president of the people rather big business.

His running mate Mike Pence is a climate change denier and questions evolution (and he is a creationist)

Two warped individuals.

Oh my word, are you for real Paul? Trump is constantly contradicting himself. He is a sociopath who was born with a fair number of silver spoons in his mouth  laugh

Trump is a strong character, which is far better than some useless wimpy liberal. Leaders need to be tough at times.

Also I don't see anything wrong with NOT being pc, speaking the truth is far better.

So when you say it's ok not to be pc do you actually mean it's ok to be a misogynistic bigoted racist homophobe? If so then I guess you're right, he's yer man laugh

Unfortunately, Scapegoat, Trump now seems to be 'the man' for an increasing number of Americans who are either blind to his shortcomings or attracted to his egotistic and agressive isolationist vision.

Trump's hand on the nuclear trigger? Look on the bright side, at least if it kicks off we won't have been put to the expense of renewing Trident...

The man is a xenophobic  homophobic bully  God help us all if he gets in. His attitude to women is appaling even saying his daughter is hot. Yuk. I could say more, but Idon't want to waste my time and energy on this excuse for a man.
