No decision yet on how to dispose of dead whale from Dawlish beach
 
Teignbridge Council are debating 'several options' as how to dispose of the whale and security will remain on the beach overnight to guard the carcass.

A majestic being that can live to 60 - 70 years of age and does no damage to its environment, respect.

 

A whale is not as small as us.

Most whales are bigger than a bus.

A whale is not like a fish in the sea.

A whale breathes air like you and me.

A whale can't walk upon the ground.

A whale must swim to get around.

A whale is a mammal just like me.

Scientists arrive in Dawlish to examine huge whale carcass - here's what we know so far
 
The site was visited by a marine biologist from London today after thousands of people went to the beach to view the whale. There are reports of some visitors at the scene as early as 3:30am on Friday morning.

Pieces of whale have been chopped off and taken off the beach using a digger - it's thought the removal operation will cost around £10,000

Can someone help please. When there Is a link for torquay herald express.co.uk why Is It when I click on link I get lines where there should be text? The others are unaffected.
