A housing estate has been split in two by a fence because of an apparent building mix-up - leaving drivers face a two-mile diversion around it.

Planning authority Teignbridge District Council and roads authority Devon County Council will be getting together in the New Year to try to sort it out.

and we pay their wages, there should be sackings over this but as it is, it makes the Exeter road junction with Cairhax Way a little safer so leave as is before we end up with another stretch of 30mph speed restriction.

The incompetence of TDC and DCC highways can clearly be seen by the joke they have created on the Warren Road by the Beach Road and along towards Millin Way. Hope they rememberd to get the required RTO or theyll be re-instating the road when the FOI comes back

So will we the residents of Teignbridge be forking out for a builders cockup, but then the residents of Carhaix must be grateful as they wont like it when they get heavy constuction traffic using Carhaix as a short cut to the Gatehouse building site because the link road will not be built first.
