A woman was arrested at a Devon train station on suspicion of being drunk in charge of a child.
The 42-year-old was arrested on Tuesday evening following a fight at Dawlish Warren train station involving adults and children.

i was attacked shame they dont have cctv and shame that the drug addicts that attacked me are still walking around free only a matter of time untill they do it too someone else.
This women is me and i have a head injury from this attack. An attack that was witnessed by my child. And i had concussion and ni i was not drunk
You need to get your facts correct i was not drunk with child i was attacked with a child and i have a head injury thats why they thought i was drunk i was hit around the head with a drink can. And i wish your town had cctv to prove it its a warning to others that do not feel you are safe in dawlish clearly you are not
@Laurahollycasey, this town like many others are full of people who do not get the facts right. if they don't know something, they will make it up.
The body they found in the toilets is rife with who it is. I have heard at least half a dozen different descriptions.
So don't worry too much about what other people are saying about you. Just let them believe what they want to believe.
Thank you im just trying to get over what has happened my little boy was left so shook up. To be honest i dont blame the police as they didnt know what had happened until the next day when they saw my face was black and blue. I still have a head injury which has so far changed who i am, normally im out with my son on our bikes and now i can just about make it walking to my local shop. Society has most certainly changed and i know people do not like CCTV, however it serves its purpose and protects people and protery from crime. I see a growing tend in drug use in devon, which like all other places in the uk comes with many issues. Times have changed and its time that people face that reality, CCTV is important for the mention above and isnt there no spy on peoole just going about their everyday lives. If there was CCTV i would be able to show what happened yet i cant so thats pretty frustrating not only for me but for the police. Stupidly i did have a few drink but was far from drunk if i hadnt of been attacked i wouldnt of been so erractic. Oh well i guess there has to be some good from all of this and maybe this will stop it happeneing to someone else that is what i hope. Dawlish is one of my favourite places in the world full of lovely people and a great beach i have many happy childhood memories i just hope it stay that way for my children and stays the safe place it has always been.
