Hi again. Well it's over and that's my charity walking done for the year. If you'd been on Dawlish seafront from about 3pm onwards on Sunday you'd have seen 150+ weary walkers wending their way on the last stretch back to the Warren. Thanks for bearing with me on the discussion thread. Even though the thread didn't raise any sponsorship I managed to reach my overall target of £500 which will be a ...

Morning everyone! Only 6 days to go and counting. Last training walk today so you may catch a glimpse of me this morning walking through Dawlish to the Waren before heading inland up to top of Haldon. If there's anyone in the Dawlish cloud who'd still like to sponsor me you can by going to www.justgiving.com/neil-howell1 . Cheers

Hi everyone. I have posted this on the off-chance that you would sponsor me on the HACK - the Hike Against Cruelty to Kids. This is a 25 mile walk on 11th September organised by the NSPCC and starting and finishing at Dawlish Warren. As well as being a worthy cause it is another event that helps to put Dawlish on the map. Karateka that's just the sort of reponse we like to hear! I can comment that visitors enjoy their experience and buy the lads drinks to encourage them to keep the experience going which they all do without little persuation. Visitors think it's great ...

And then,in the middle of the jam session he fired off "Apache"by the ...

To put 'ffs' ..just about says it all. Put the words in full so people understand you more! For the record I dont go in the pub, I do not have a problem with the music being a success and not bothered whatever they do, to me it's just good its not another 'braindead' football pub. People vote with their feet, do accept many in Dawlish just hate change and anything new.
