Thought I'd start a new thread. Just received this from TDC. (wonder how long it will be before this thread goes the way of others? Sigh)

"Dear Lynne,

Thank you for your message regarding design requirements for the potential replacement of the Bandstand facility at Dawlish. The principle for regeneration of the bandstand on the Lawn at Dawlish is established through Teignbridge Local Plan Policy DA12, where this will provide “an improved structure that will provide a focus for arts and events”.

Given the bandstand is situated within a Conservation Area, particular attention will need to be given to the design of a proposed scheme. While Local Plan policy EN5 (p.65) is not prescriptive, it does contain guidance that will influence what may be considered to be acceptable design. Other policies in the Local Plan are also relevant:

·         S13 Town Centres (p.30);

·         S17 Dawlish (p.34);

·         EC12 Tourist Attractions (p.47);

·         WE12 Loss of Local Facilities (p.59);

Kind regards,"

I think Dorian's post was meant as a joke relating to Lynne saying: 'wonder how long it will be before this thread goes the way of the others? Sigh'.

It has now been reported several times. It wasn't a particularly funny joke but ......Jeez peeps, lighten up!

Thank you both.  Probably the same folk who tried the monkey in Hartlepool.

Post #2 of this thread was automatically censored due to the number of reports threshold being reached. I've uncensored it. I've also put up the threshold a bit now things are calmer on here.

More to the point Webmaster look at who reported it in the first place.  They're as much of your problem as Mrs C.
