AN 82-year-old former policeman has been jailed for two-and-a-half years for sexually assaulting two girls.
Colin Dearing, of Richmond Place in Dawlish, was convicted at a trial last year after pleading not guilty to five counts of indecent assault against two victims.
I hope the disgusting old bastard rots in hell. Why is our little town populated by so many of these dirty old men?
What about the dirty young men that have been in the press and court recently you make it sound that every elderly gentleman is a dirty old man or is it you think there is no life in the over 60s.
Of course whatever age men or women commit these offences they should rot in a cell and never be allowed back into society and why so many in Dawlish well how many in Starcross, Kenton, Teignmouth etc etc its not just a Dawlish problem it's a national problem.
I didn't say that every old man was a dirty old man or that life ends at 60, so please don't presume that you can come on here and get away with putting words into my mouth Leatash.
And to answer your admirable defence of Dawlish, the reason why I said I was concerned about our little town rather than surrounding villages or towns is two-fold: One, this is the Dawlish forum, and two, there have been a number of recent judicial cases of Dawlish pensioners being found guilty of sexual abuse. Of course it's a national problem, but I don't understand why you're being so defensive!
