On page 72 of this week's Dawlish Post there are lots of public notices one of which states the following:

Local Government Act 1972 Section 123 (1), (2A)

Disposal of Interest in Open Space

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Teignbridge Distict Council intends to dispose of an interest in two areas of open space at the following locations:

Tuck's Plot, Station Road, Dawlish by way of a 20 year lease for use for miniature golf

Layne's fields, Christow by way of a 25 year lease to Christow Parish Council to use as a children's play area

Plans showing the areas of land affected can be inspected at TDC Offices, Forde House etc etc etc. 

Thanks for sharing that about Tucks Plot. IIRC, this is confirmation of what was mooted earlier this year or late last year. Hopefully a business will take on the lease and create an Adventure Golf course like the excellent ones at the Warren and (dare I say it) Teignmouth.
