Incident - Rescue From Height

The Fire Service were initially called to one adult male and one dog on a cliff face at the above location. One fire appliance from Dawlish, one fire appliance from Teignmouth, a Specialist Rescue Team from Camels Head and Specialist Supporting Officers were mobilised to this incident. Shortly after the initial call it was confirmed the adult male was now safe but the dog still required rescuing.
07:10 .. Coastguard is now in attendance.
07:27 .. Dog located and secured. Efforts being made to remove from cliff space.
07:54 .. Dog secured by firefighter on cliff face, crews holding a multi agency meeting for best method of recovery.
08:34 .. Coastguard now in attendance with firefighter to move to place of safety. One dog now rescued by fire service personnel and reunited with owner.
