A long gone friend of mine used to collect dead bits of Gorse from under Gorse bushes, he cut it up into two inch bits and spread that around his garden - it worked miracles, they don't like it up'em.

Hard standing for Farmers markets etc., that will give madam mayor's swan,s etc, more grazing room on the lawn and when holiday makers picnic on the lawn they will get covered from the muck that comes from the back end of the feathered beauties - nice.
