Never mind what it is called, we had a nice walk in the rain to Red Rock Cafe today and enjoyed our cup of coffee and bread pudding. Well worth the walk.
Any body walked through the pedestrian part of Secmaton Lane it is full of dog poo. Children walk this lane to gatehouse school, never mind training the dogs its the owners that want training. PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG?

Have I missed a point, if the approval is given to build and the funds are granted, then we the tax payers of dawlish are going to have to fund payments to Teignbridge District Council for the lease of the land and also for council tax payments on the building. Also has the Enviroment Agency given approval for a building to be placed on the lawn as I understand it they objected to the building ...

@michaelclayson Have you thought of the problems of getting a coach into Barton carpark, first there is the width of Brunswick Place then trying to turn at the top of Brunswick Place into Barton Hill and when coming out of the car park the coach will have to negotiate the Strand again with the width problems. From what I have seen the new homes dont have gardens just a small courtyard to store the bins in.
Thin end of the wedge and Lynne it is at the moment £35 for an additionnal bin not for the collection of the garden refuse. Will the next step be that DCC will start charging to take green waste as they do for hardcore, which incidentally they resell. Also how long before the council decides that it is not its duty to collect plastic and cardboard and they start charging us for that.
@Lynne . we had similar problems with one of our sets recently and found the problem to be the ariel connection at the back of the set. also if you are feeding three sets from one ariel you may be in need of a signal booster. free sat is another option but the reception is greatly affected by rain, and we have had a lot of that recently.
