General Discussion

Well done to the No. 1 Café Bar (Strand Chambers, Queen Street), which is one of only 17 independent coffee shops in the whole of the country to have made it through to the second round of Beverage Service Association’s Beverage Experience of 2009 awards.

This competition judges cafés, hotels and restaurants on their preparation of espresso-based coffees and their teas.

The results of the second-round judging are expected at the end of July.
