Saw this in the news - anyone know anything about it and what tye money is going to be used for?  Was this as a result of the submission earlier this year - remember the video on the Lawn

Dawlish awarded £10,000 for town improvements

A South Devon town has been given £10,000 to help revitalise the high street and draw more people to the area. Dawlish has been awarded the money from the Town Team Partner Programme - a government fund set up in response to retail guru Mary Portas' High Street Review. It is the only town in Teignbridge to receive money from the scheme.

I don't know if it has yet been decided how the money will be spent. I guess though that Cllr Rosalind Prowse or David Force would be two people who might be involved with deciding how it gets used. So you could try contacting them for more info.
