I'm just curious to know how many Labour cllrs there are in the parliamentary constituency of Newton Abbot. I know there are none on Teignbridge District Council but wondered if anyone could tell me if there are any on town/parish councils within this particular parliamentary seat and if so, how many and on which town/parish councils? Thanks

Lots of councils across the country are short of money - Conservative controlled Devon County Council being one of them. The councils are short of money for a variety of reasons - a huge drop in funding from central government since 2010, an increase in demand for the services that local government addresses (eg social services, special needs education, homelessness) and inflation.

The ladies toilets by the old information centre.

Due to the lack of service we seem to get from the railways by whoever, why not consider making the track between exeter and plymouth Dartmouth a heritage railway. Using historic steam or desiel engines and refurbished rolling stock. When are the libm  dem controlled council going to replace the bridge in the manor park. This has been closed for over a year and we get responses like " were looking into it." This is the council that has spent thousands in making Forde HQ " zero neural" and empolyed a climate change officer at circa £35k a year then tell you there is no money available. When is this council going to do something about replacing thia well uses bridge.They can spend thousands on the forde HQ and employ " climate change " manager but cant even get a grip on local issues.....
