The petition in favour has been going for a third of the time of the original one by Cllr Foden. And hasn’t had any of the publicity in the local rag that hers has had (not seen this weeks edition yet, so I’m assuming that they’ve ignored it).

Sticks and stones, but there’s still no such thing as the Dawlish News newspaper. When one is moaning about accuracy, it’s always good to get ones facts correct.

I see that someone has signed the petition at least twice! Once very recently! Even with the fraudulent signatures, Alison Foden is only at 4% of the Dawlish population. How long has she got until this is decided one way or the other?
I’m not going by to get drawn into an argument with you Margaret Swift. You’re clearly reading more into my comments than there need be. My point, that was clearly too subtle, was that a number of people within a certain demographic have previously stated on here and on Facebook that they think it’s unlikely that people in Dawlish take their kids to Teignmouth to use the playpark facilities there. ...
