In the absence of a reply from Mark, I did some research yesterday. The going rate for residents' parking in London boroughs seems to be up to about £150 p.a. or a little more. In some boroughs this entitles you to park only near your home, in others across the borough. I shall not comment as to whether this is reasonable as I know that each of you will have your own views. Viaduct doesn't post here any longer under that name and none of the current posters seem to have his tone. Possibly things are different for Crown employees but most people in UK pay their tax in Pounds Sterling rather than dollars.
