They were kept in the aviary prior to being released to the Brook (not the the wildfowl officers idea, so I believe), and when let out there was a territory issue with the others and were attacked. I stand to be corrected though!!

I believe the cygnets born around Easter (?) had to be sold. Don't know where they went though.

The one's opposite Harrisons (near tourist info.) was open today (which was convenient for me), and barton car park ones open yesterday when I passed by.

Well, my post was a bit tongue in cheek Nelson, but I was basically agreeing with Andysport.

@neilh , after readin your post " Three ducks neck and neck at the end with the leader being sucked into a lateral vortex to be overtaken at the finish line. " I reckon you would be a great candidate for the commentator roll!

Bloomin 'eck. I suppose mean plain long grain rice. Preferably without buying an overpriced tv chef  (nice though he is)  branded gadget.

Waiting for your recipe Chef :-) incidentally , can you advise the simplest way to cook rice? Never seem to get it right.
