No, the figures in brackets are the numbers of replies, often a dialogue between two people. The website isn't advertised anywhere, but even then I doubt whether anyone would contribute. Odd, I agree.

Hi. If you scroll down this forum you will see my own frustration at what you describe expressed many times and in many ways! I don't know whats the matter with people here! Nobody, but nobody apart from four of us, used to contribute to discussions, and one by one we gave up and stopped bothering. Hence no discussion since 16th July. You'll see the same phenomenon reflected in the letters page ...

Although it matters not one jot as nobody ever reads the stuff on here. Probably just as well.

isn't it brilliant? Doesn't it make you realise that there is more to life than Dawlish carnival? Saw a great house in Exeter. Can't wait to move. So long suckers!

Its like a blanket of fog has descended on Dawlish, numbing peoples brains and sucking out all their energy.Look at the Dawlish letters page - nearly always filled with correspondence from Teignmouth. Whats ...

Its like the ONLY thing that happens in Dawlish all the year round. Now they are asking for volunteers to police it. Why don't local businesses pay out of the increased profits they will make?

Very nice. Yes it certainly feels at times (maybe all the time?) that no one else is alive in Dawlish. I don't understand, with a population of 11000, how a place can be so lacking in energy. And it seems to be getting WORSE!!

Stumpy, can't you spot a wind - up? I think it was aimed at me but even I saw through that one.
