I see the front page Gazette 30 July 2008 Wally Protheroe has gone quakers.
At long last someone else has discovered it.

And have you noticed that the Gazette has to advertise it's existance on the front of the Dawlish Post?
No need to buy the Gazette any more, you can get you want on this site and more.
There is true freedom of speech on here, although some get upset about it.

You can say whatever you like on here, and I will defend your right to say it.

How strange that people think that the laws of defamation don't apply to the internet. They think that freedom of speech means that they can write what they wish without legal recourse.

However, there are limitations on freedom of speech:

Defamation (slander and libel).
Obscenity.
Threats.
Lying in court (perjury).
Talking out of turn during a trial, or talk that causes contempt of court.
Speaking about a trial outside the court room after the judge forbids it (sub judice).
Profanity.
Hate speech that is defamatory or causes incitement to violence.
Classified information: sensitive or secret to protect the national interest.
Treason: to talk publicly of the death of all countrymen or the overthrow of the government.

This all applies as much to the internet as it does to the written or spoken word. Food for thought, perhaps?

P.S. Membership of the Quakers religious society of friends, is not relevant here...

And this is what that link has to say:

Acceptable Forum Use:
You agree, through your use of the forum, that you will not post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law.

Top tip of the day: Defamation laws most definitely apply to the internet.

More threats Joey Deacon? That's all you know....
Why don't you vent your spleen against our mayor Protheroe and give him a kick up the ass to do a lot, lot, more for the residents of Dawlish rather than just himself.

I suggest you take heed yourself of the advice you proffer. The world you live in Deacon is jaundiced and corrupt and you will do anything to cover up your deceitful ways. But we will do even more to make everyone aware of your duplicity.

This may go some way to stop the deceitful going's on at the Mount.

How many of his hard working staff get this?
The national minimum wage, currently £5.52, rises to £5.73 on 1 October.
And how many of his staff do not get that because they are under the said age?

I've looked thru the archives and found Rainbow's first posting on here. It makes very interesting reading and shows his true colours!

I wonder how much old man Protheroe charged on his menu for those Ducks he had his eye on, on the front page of the Gazette? Quack

Not being a drinking man, I think it is called being tea-total, I have hurd it is the most expensive place to eat and drink pub food.

A lot of the young hard working staff are not on the maximum minimum wage. There is a terrible smell that permeates the air unless someone is quick enough to dampen the smell with a deoderizing airarsole.

And yet there are dickheads that still venture there. Is that the watering hole of Joey Deacon and co? Drink in brains out and then they come on here and spout rubbish.

So your talking about something you know nothing about then Roy/sorry Viaduct. You dont drink or eat their , yet you know what wages they get. You dont drink their yet you know it is the dearest pub around and they use deodrant to kill the smell.

Your neighbours must be using cans of the stuff,to dispose of the smell of shit that you speak.

By the way , i dont use MNT Pleasant due to the fact they serve chips with everything, in the same way as i dont use the woodern pub on the front to eat(although its ok for a beer, even though it is DEARER).

The Dawlish hater slips up again.
