ARMED police scoured Dawlish Warren today searching for a man reported to be carrying a gun.
The police helicopter and scores of officers were involved in the manhunt which was sparked after a car was broken into and an air pistol and pellets were among the items stolen.
The alarm was raised when members of the public alerted police that a man had been seen around Dawlish Warren brandishing the foot long pistol.
