At around 7pm on Monday 24 September an 11-year-old boy was assaulted by a group of youths when on his own in Manor Gardens Park, Barton Terrace, Dawlish. 

 

It is understood that three teenage boys began shouting abuse at him, they then tripped him up, stamped on his leg and pushed him into the bushes causing some injuries. 

 

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, or knows who the offenders may be, to contact them. 

 

The offenders were described as aged 15 and 16, white, male, average height and size.  Two were dressed in dark clothing and hoodies, with a dragon on the back of one.  The third youth was wearing trousers and a black plain shirt. All were wearing hi-top trainers.
