I too need  a plumber, to take out an old electric shower and put in a new one. The last "plumber", I engaged, turned up wearing spurs and a stetson, need I  say more. Who ever turns up please keep in mind, you'll be the official plumber to the  gereatric  King of Rock and Roll.

Call me an old cynic, but might it be that kenny is Tom Franklin in disguise.

I hope BJ doesn't stand for what I'm thinking.

Good luck with plumbers in this area.  It's not that they are bad it just takes 4-6 weeks to get anything done.

Not just plumbers Brooklyn, I've lived here a while now, tradesmen, either just don't turn up or come and go according to the tide.

I don't think I'll ever get used to it .

I rent a flat in Dawlish from a private landlord. Recently I had a wet room fitted with the consent of the landlord. It incurred taking out the complete bathroom suite, removing the floor, resiting the drains etc. etc. ....... I was fortunate enough to stay in a friends bungalow whilst the work was being done as I could not use the bathroom in the flat.

I had various concerns during the work but these were all addressed by the builder who assured me everything would be done to specification which really put my mind at rest. I was able to meet with the builder and plumber at the flat and also contact him at any time via his mobile.

The finance was part disability grant and I had to pay the rest. The finished wet room was inspected by the landlord and the council buildings department.

The whole job to five days and the finished result was fantastic. Needless to say my wife and I are very pleased with the result and the finished job was above my expectations.

My landlord was delighted with the work done and the representative from the council was also impressed with the quality of the finish. The rest of the flat was left in a clean and tidy condition.

I have no hesitation in recommending this firm.

The name of the builder/plumber - Steve Dale, who is Devon County Council and BWC accredited.

Contact him for a quote and I hope you get the work done that you require.

What makes you think you are in  a position to make observations about cowboy customers then flo?
Perhaps you have a connection with BJ plumbers?

@elvis presley.  no, no connection with them but my husband is a tradesman (not a plumber).  we have plenty of experience thank you with both the tradespeople of the surrounding area and the customers.  i know who i would recommend and who i wouldn't (trade and customers ...)
