It was a lovely weekend wasn't it.
We managed to get into the Warren and then into Dawlish on Friday and Saturday. Unfortunately most of our party went down with a 12 hour bug on the Sunday so we didn't do anything except look after poorly people!
We had been looking forward to our first visit of the year to 'Sticky Fingers' only to find it was under new management with hardly any choice of ice-cream flavours. I understand that taking on a new business is very hard work and trying to decide which products to sell must be very hard indeed, but when we described the shop to the newest members of the family they were drooling at the thought, sadly they were a little disappointed, BUT, we did have a lovely time for most of the weekend.
Thanks to Roly's fudge for the delicious fudge to get me through the tough parts.
Just to let you know Sticky Fingers is being refurbished by the new owners after Easter and will be stocking a wider range of ice cream i have been told it will be a bright new shop only selling ice cream.
Hopefully they will still stock the radioactive stuff that turns your mouth and tongue a bright blue colour, a perennial favourite with the kids.
