Cockwood

Cockwood is a small village on the west side of the Exe Estuary, lying between the villages of Dawlish Warren and Starcross. And while its spelling may appear straightforward, there is some debate as to how you should say it.

Some miss out the "w", pronouncing it "Cock-uhd" - but we're genuinely not sure which way is correct. Do you know?
