Dawlish News
I believe Dawlish forked out tens of thousands of pounds around the town for the current cctv system, but I believe due to cost restraints! they do not monitor them. They could have them linked to a recording system that could continuosly monitor all camera's. Then if an incident took place the police could access the data from a remote server.
Police, what police. On a rare ocassion you may see a car skoot through or a couple of pcso's having a nice walk. I must be living in a different Dawlish. I think the celebrations are a little early

The title of the post states 'to Dawlish', but has that not already been decided. The article itself is discussing the trail going through Dawlish. I presume that means the discussions will be on how the trail goes through Dawlish on its way to Teignmouth! From my experiences with most, but not all, cyclist's who share the same path as walker's around Dawlish. They are not only inconsiderate ...

As I said in another post. I have waited up to half an hour or more trying to get through to 101 to advise police of certain situations. I think many that have given the police info in the past are sick and tired of paying to call 101 and rarely getting through.
It's the same old BS that was spouted when many of the long term mental institutions were disbanded with the trumpets of change spouting 'care in the community'. Many patients were thrown out on the street and put in BnB's by the social services and what happened to those sites that were closed down!
