Hi DawlishBlue Thanks for that, LOVING Dawlish, what a hidden gem of a place ! Found that Deli earlier this week :-) Owner tells me they are looking at selling up / closing down and taking life easier :-( Sad for us, good for them tho. Such a pity there s mo seafood place here tho, selling / specializing in cooked & raw "local" seafoods. Hmmmmmm ......... now there is "food for thought" (=|:-)

Aha .... I know both places well :-) Better your camping than my time, unfortnstely this time last year I was dealing with earthquakes & a mining disaster (organizing the catering for all the emergergency services) Re : cheeses - NZ best cheeses = UK mediocre cheeses (at best) :-( As a self confessed cheeseholic I am loving the availability (and cheapness compared to NZ) Still to find my favorite ...

That's an awesome start, thanks!! I'm always passionate about supporting local poduce & suppliers, (not to mention its usually the best produce) and agree with Don Re : coffee etc. PS When are local food markets? Dawlish or beyond? (=|:-D
